P.O.W.E.R. KIDS is the Children’s Ministry of Grace Church for children K-5th Grade. Our goal is that “our kids have a firm foundation in the Lord” by teaching them to:

We welcome you to Grace! No need to be nervous, we were all new too at one time or another. Here’s a few things to help you and your children be prepared.

Where Do I Go when I come With my child?

Our Welcome Center for Kindergarten through 5th graders called “Power Kids” is located down the hall from the lower auditorium. Parents will come and check their kids in. Each child will get a nametag and then go to their classroom. Parents will be given a tag to be used to pick up their child in the classroom at the end of the session.

Jr. Church 8:00am, 9:15am, 10:30am and 11:45am

Beginning with a large group environment, this is an experience of high-energy worship, creative teaching and personal interaction where "the bottom line" for that week is introduced. At the end of the lesson, kids expand on what they have learned through a small group environment.

What if my Child is younger?

If you have a child that is an infant through preschool age, they would be part of our Creation Station. This area is located upstairs of our building. We have a pager and tag system for the security of each child. During a preschoolers time in Creation Station they will learn 3 basic truths:

God loves me

God made me

Jesus wants to be my friend forever

P.O.W.E.R. Hour- Wednesday Evenings 6:45pm (Sept-May)

located in the Power Kids room.
Exciting worship & Discipleship as well as getting kids connected.
Kids K-5th grade learn together and also separately as age & gender groups toward a deeper level of growth.

Junior Quizzing – (Sept – March)

3rd through 6th grade kids working
together to learn and memorize portions of scripture used in competition at district quiz rallies. It’s a great way to hide God’s word in their hearts.

First Steps –

Once a child has accepted Jesus into their heart or has questions about it, we offer this class to explain Salvation as well as baptism. The class is added to the calendar when a baptism service is scheduled.

Jr. Camp – (June) 3rd – 5th graders

For one week in June the kids head to Beulah Beach in Vermilion, Ohio to meet with other kids from our Northeast Ohio District. Archery, team building, swimming, golf, crafts and digital photography and much more are offered on the shores of Lake Erie.
